CyHi The Prynce has stepped into battle mode, releasing a pointed new diss track aimed at J. Cole titled “B.R.A Lost Control.” Shared on Instagram on February 27, the record makes it clear he’s no longer biting his tongue.

The artist wrote on Instagram while unveiling the song: “Outside of all the bulls**t There’s artists who actually put their life on the line for hip hop ‼‼‼ Produced By: Brian AllDay Mark Byrd Available now on YouTube b#rap #hiphop #art #battlerap”

Produced by Brian AllDay and Mark Byrd, the lyrically dense track finds CyHi challenging Cole’s long-held “Best Rapper Alive” claim.

The Atlanta rapper also revisits lingering tension over Cole’s 2016 song “False Prophets,” widely viewed as criticism of Kanye West, CyHi’s longtime collaborator.  He even references Jamiroquai while threatening to tear Dreamville “into pieces” with “furniture moving.”

The track also reflects CyHi’s broader frustrations with what he sees as performative lyricism in today’s rap scene — a critique he’s voiced online in recent weeks. Whether Cole responds remains to be seen, but “B.R.A Lost Control” makes one thing certain: CyHi is ready for smoke.
